Madison is a researcher at TechQuity Health Lab passionate about advancing health equity and healthcare innovation. Madison’s research focuses on the role of venture capital and non-dilutive funding in the commercialization of medical technology. Prior to joining TechQuity Health Lab, Madison supported clinical trial research at Substance Treatment and Research Service (STARS), which is a program of Columbia University Medical Center and the New York State Psychiatric Institute. She also worked as an Associate Intern at Jumpstart Health Investors, a Nashville-based healthcare venture capital firm. During her time at Jumpstart, Madison played a key role in driving investments in culturally competent care, healthcare IT, and pediatric behavioral health. Madison graduated with honors from Barnard College at Columbia University with a BA in Psychology.
